Magnetic Stove Thermometers.
Monitors your stove from 100° F – 900°F (40°C – 480°C) [+-10%].
Identifies your standard optimum burn temperature for efficient stove use.
This is usually 275°F – 575°F
(135°C – 300°C).
Optimum burn range may vary depending on stove please consult the stove operating manual.
Warns of potential for creosote and soot build up
when the stove is running too cold ( up to 275°F [135°C].
You can then either increase the airflow and/or add fuel.
Warns of potential stove overheating inefficiency and risks of chimney damage (over 575°F [300°C]).
You can then reduce the airflow.
Information on how to install the thermometer is on the reverse of the packaging it comes in.
This Thermometer is NOT suitable for double wall flue pipe.
